The inspection method is to put the multimeter in the 2MW resistance range, and insert the exposed metal parts of the measuring ends of the two test leads into the cooling water in parallel at a distance of 1cm. At this time, the resistance reading should be greater than 250kW. If the reading is lower than this value, the cooling water should be replaced immediately.
2.Check the protection interlock circuit
As the laser welding machine is designed with protective measures such as over-temperature sound alarm, over-temperature interlock, flow switch interlock, and liquid level protection interlock, the above protection circuits should be checked frequently during use to ensure its normal and effective function.
Whether the cooling system of the laser welding machine is operating normally or not determines the safe operation of the machine, otherwise it may cause a series of equipment safety problems such as low electro-optical conversion efficiency of the equipment, flicker of the laser spot, overheating of the laser and equipment, and bursting of the laser rod.
